About the data
India Codebook is a directory of Indian bank IFSC codes and India Post pincodes. Each code has its own URL so you can open, copy, or share a single branch or PIN.
IFSC records come from the per-bank JSON masters in this project (RBI/NPCI branch files as distributed). Pincode records come from the India Post CSV imported into the same database.
The site is rendered on demand from Cloudflare D1. After a data import, HTML that was cached at the edge should be purged so pages show the new codes. We do not invent missing MICR, SWIFT, or office fields — if a value is absent in the source, the page says so.
